vivbot192 I see! I was worried because I didn't know what 'regular packaging' consisted of and because I bought a fan, I'm scared the handle might get bent or break and stuff ;; in that case I'll just go for regular packaging then. Thank you so much for your help ^^

i have a question about japamart that hopefully someone will be able to answer. -n-
about a week ago i bid on a handful of items (and won them all). normally when you bid on something, you have to wait until the bidding time is up before you officially won. but on three of the things i bid on, i won them straight away - even though they were all still bids (all three listings had a "current bid" and a "buy it now price" listed; but when i placed my bids, it said i had won anyways). this is only my second time using japamart so i had no idea what was going on; but i just expected japamart to handle it as they usually do. after a few days passed and i had payed off everything else i won, i kept noticing that the 'payment to seller' title still said 'unpaid' for all three of these items; and until that was payed, i couldn't pay off the rest of the fees myself. but today i finally got an email from japamart saying that the three bids were cancelled because "we did not write to them within 6 hours of closing time. please avoid bidding on this kind of auction or request a manual bid in this case".
all i want to know is what kind of bid were they - and more importantly, how can i differentiate them from other bids so i can avoid bidding on auctions like this again (or request manual bids on them) ? :\ gonna try asking again; i might put more money on in a few days and i want to be sure that this doesn't happen again, or that i can avoid it.

dreamstroue yep! i just got my first package today, so i'll try and do a quick rundown - commission fee is ¥300 - so far i haven't been charged more than ¥120 for domestic shipping, but i also didn't buy anything that was heavy - intl shipping method i used was SAL Small Package; items packed safely, arrived undamaged, took ~15 days to get to me (east coast of the usa) - most of what i bought was BIN, i only did 2 auctions because i happened to be up when they were ending lol so i can't really speak much on the auction/bidding process

I'm so confused with FromJapan; I made a sniper bid for 2000 Yen on SS4 encore cards. 15 minutes after the listing ended I got an e-mail saying that my bid failed. Of course I was pissed/sad at fist, I've been trying to get Yesung's SS4 Doremi card for ages and I finally found it again I went to Yahoo Auctions to look at the listing directly and saw that it ended a 1500 yen, which confused me as my bid was higher. I went to look at the bidding list and saw that FJ indeed made my bid but that it was cancelled immediately afterwards??? This might be a mistranslation as I'm using Google Translate to figure out what it said but I don't understand why it didn't end at 2000 Yen as that was my highest offer. Can someone explain this to me? ;A;

meeltje2951 That's happened to me a few times with FJ too, I think on all of the snipe bids I've set with them, and I was never able to figure out why :/ If I have to snipe now (and if I'm desperate to b/c higher fees haha), I only do so using another proxy. Sorry that happened to you! Hopefully someone else can shed some light on why that keeps happening ;;

vivbot192 I only started using FJ this week so basically I have no idea what I'm doing but it went fine for the other 3 items I bid on and won. But today it happened with both of the items I used snipe bid for. The only reason I can think of is that some sellers don't allow proxy websites to bid on their items. Is there an overview / comparison of the proxy websites somewhere? I would like to look into it Also, is there a difference in fee with regular and snipe bids? o.O

meeltje2951 Hmmm yeah... idk, I only ever use manual bidding on FJ now ^^;; That is a possibility though, for sellers to do that. Maybe it's easier for them to tell with certain usernames that proxies will use too? (like "fromjapanbidding" is so much more obvious than some of the others they use orz) I don't think anyone's ever made an overview/comparison of the different proxies yet, though before a lot of people switched from japamart to FJ, I'd thought about doing it for FJ and Buyee Seems like there are a couple new proxy sites popping up that others are trying out too, so it could be a useful thing to have! Feel free to let me know if you've got any questions about FJ/Buyee though :] No difference in fee for regular vs. snipe bids! FJ has the cheapest commission fee of all the proxies, that's all haha. I still think their Snipe Bid option is glitchy, unless I just got unlucky every time I tried to use it xD

meeltje2951 My sniper bid for FromJapan has been 100% working so far *knock on wood though*, but maybe because my routine probably has to do with it? Idk, but I always make sure I use the sniper bid option for at least 2 days before the auction of the item ends. However, vivbot192 maybe right and there may be a glitch on the system to certain people/areas. Try to check your cookies and block any unwanted ads, etc?

rikane94 Oh man, lucky! If I remember correctly, I've tried setting snipe bids at least 2-3 days before auction end as well as 12-36 hours before (diff auctions and before/after they updated their site) and it's never worked... Must be a seller-related thing then. I'm too paranoid now to try it again orz But I'm glad to hear it's working for you!

vivbot192 oh man really? Maybe I'm just lucky so far, but I hope it starts working well for you guys soon. Since it wasn't a good experience for you, just don't risk using the sniper bid option just in case

Hi everyone, sorry for the double post. I bought another set of items from FromJapan, and I've already made an instructed shipment list a few days ago. So far, only half of the items that I won has arrived to the warehouse. With that, I recently won another bid, and I just wanna know if it's possible for FromJapan to add my winning bid to the same shipment list.

rikane94 I think if you want to add an item to an already instructed shipment there is a fee to do so.

rikane94 if I remember correctly you can still cancel the instructions until all items has arrive. So I guess yes ^^
