levelgrind omggg It has a cost calculator!!! That's pretty cool! The only thing is that the International shipping costs are RIDICULOUS.

SHINee They're a little high, yes. TT^TT But most shipping from Japan will be. You'd be surprised how much I've paid in shipping for my figures in the past... (The figures costed less than the shipping, haha. Ouchhh.)

levelgrind For some reason though, the ones on that site are like twice as much as the prices I've paid for using japamart. I' m probably just entering in some wrong numbers though ;;;^^

SHINee It could be. I've played around with the numbers a bit... it's hard to tell the dimensions or weight of something without knowing what kind of packaging it's going to be in! ^^;

I finally bought from japamart(thanks to your tutorial lightningislame thank you!) and I'm semi-disappointed. I got yongguk JP oneshot for $13 which is good but I was missing himchans badman and saw it there so I decided to buy it there(IDK WHY) and it came out to $16 total in the invoice and I'm like why....... So I'm like 50/50 with it right now LOL but my question is, how does the shipping work? Is there any free or like SUPER cheap shipping option?

youngjae aahhh don't buy korean cards on yahoo auctions!!! you'll pay more than what you'd pay on ebay!!! D: and as for shipping from japamart to you.. i always choose EMS. it takes 4 days to reach me. and for a couple of cards it's usually around $15 for me. i have a huge haul and idek what the shipping will cost and they're being slow and ARGAHDDKALAHAH!!!!

lightningislame NOW I KNOW LOL NEVER AGAIN, but your right about the japanese cards being cheaper! I'm superrrrr stingy when it comes to shipping -_- I'd rather actually risk it getting lost with no tracking/insurance than pay $10 LOL I need to fix that..

lightningislame I was kind of afraid that shipping would be really expensive with Japamart but $15 for EMS is good! Basically the same as CDJapan's EMS shipping. The first thing I am going to do when I get some money is try and win something from Yahoo Auctions! Again, thank you for the tutorial! <3 (Sorry I'm editing this because I forgot) but could I ask roughly how much are the fees when you buy from Japamart?

hyoyeon it's pretty much the same every time. $5 commission fee on every item. $8 if more than $30 i think. shipping is usually between $3-$5 within japan. if you buy more than one item from the same seller, they will only add the shipping and the bank fee of around $2 to one item. all the other ones will only have the commission and another fee (which is the transaction fee) of like not even a dollar sometimes. i'll show you some examples. i'm going to use my galaxy supernova postcards as an example since i bought them all from the same seller. the first ones was the one that all the fees were added on to. the first one is sooyoung, second is hyoyeon, and the last one is sunny. as you can see, the fees are pretty much always the same thing. and now for more expensive items... do the fees change? yes. but not by much. as i mentioned above, the commission is $8 over $30.. also shipping will always vary but it's never been more than $5 for me. the transaction fee will be more of course if you pay for a more expensive item... this is my full hoot 7/11 set. as you can see, the commission is more expensive, and the transaction fee is more expensive as well... buying something even more expensive? this is my sealed angels' story cd (fucking rip off omfg) the commission fee is still at $8 and the transaction fee is now over $3... so, to answer your question... the fees change by what you buy/how expensive it is. hope this helped ^^

Japamart doesn't say exactly what types of sellers you can't buy from other than the low feedback but the person I was trying to buy from had very good feedback. /SOBS He or she had low bids and everytime I'd try to snipe bid, I would end up not being able to -_-

youngjae the other day i went to bid on an item and japamart was like "nope, sorry. can't do that" and didn't give me an option to ask for a manual bid like they do with sellers with low feedback... i was like... whaaaaat? the seller had high feedback and nothing seemed fishy... i just don't know why i couldn't bid on it and it made me sad TheChaser it's not that scary once you understand it! ^^
