WordPress has been updated with posts about dontworry2014's & newnewnewshop's new fake photocard listings.
Also, I stickied the thread~
I'm going to add some links to guides I've made on eBay and tumblr some time tomorrow, along with a link to an awesome guide I found showing the fake Infinite Inspirit cards (owner will be credited).

addictedtoyouleesungmin Regarding the Oh! White Border cards, my5star has them listed for auction and by the photos... they look fake.

hyoyeon - I looked at the pictures, and they don't look fake to me. The corners of the member's image, and the corners of the white border are the same size/roundness. I used a couple large pictures, so I included a spoiler tag. Images were taken from their currently active listings, and from my guide on spotting fake Oh! WB cards. Here's a close-up of the corner of their SooYoung card: The corners of both the member's image and the white border are the same size/roundness. Also, there's a speck along the edge of the card. Same goes for the corner of the Sica card they have listed: Here's an example of a fake OH! White Border corner: The corners of the member's image and the white border are NOT the same size/roundness. The white border appears to be rounder than the member's image. Look closely at TaeYeon's corner; hers is the BEST example of what the corner of a fake OH! WB card looks like. These were taken from my own set of fakes. So I don't think the White Borders my5star listed are fake.

hyoyeon - A lot of legit White Border photocards have member images that are off-center. That doesn't mean that they're fake. The important thing to look at are the corners. The white border will always follow the same roundness and same curvature as the member image. A lot of the fake cards, the white border does NOT follow the same curvature/roundness as the member image. Does that make sense? If not, I can make a picture to show you what I mean, since pictures are some times easier to understand. EDIT: Here is a picture. I hope you can see the dots along the edges, and I hope it makes sense. ^^ You'll have to click it to make it bigger... if you still can't read it, then I'll try to link it to you a different way. XD

addictedtoyouleesungmin Oh okay! I understand it now. I always thought that the off center-ness would indicate a fake. Thanks for the info!! ;; Maybe I might try and win one now LOL

hyoyeon - no problem dear! I was in the same boat as you when I first learned about fake cards. :3 But many people came to me and told me the cards they pulled from their albums were off-center, so I was like "Well, there's no way those are fake!" Good luck winning one!! I'll get around to them eventually. XD

The jessica white border oh card will be really expensive at the end of the auction..
But there is ALWAYS the possibility that one day an Ebay seller will be able to produce a fake with similar appearance to the real ones...

naeun @jk - these sellers that are already selling the fakes always use the same card types. The cards are smaller than they need to be, which is why the images appear pixelated some times (like the fake EunHyuk SF&S SS4 card I have). Copies can never be the same quality as the originals. They've been doing this for...gosh since late 2011 maybe? I think that's when official_kpop started selling their fakes......too bad they're still getting money for these fakes. *sigh*. Also, these sellers aren't that smart, and they aren't about to waste time making the cards look original. They don't care enough for that. That's just what I've gathered from dealing with them, anyways. Regardless, white border cards have specks and they can't be faked. Not without seriously marring the card and making it obvious something is wrong. Right now, there is nothing to worry about if you know what to look for. :3

Ok thanks~ The REAL problem is I don't know which cards I want. Too many of them I want some cards from Ebay but at same time, want to buy some albums too.. Unfortunately I think I can choose either buy cards from Ebay or albums only haha..

naeun @jk - eBay may be better for the normal cards of Oh! if you're wanting to collect those; they seem uncommon in the albums (group cards are super common). But some times you find super great deals for cards on eBay. Or you get really luck and pull a popular member from an album, so you won't have to spend much. Me, I have terrible luck with albums so I just stick to eBay. >.<

Me too don't have much luck with albums. I recently started collecting photo cards so I am not too sure which direction should I be heading too..
Do you think you can give me some tips?
Should I complete my SNSD album photo card collections eg Mr Taxi repackaged album photo cards OR should I collect the more expensive, more difficult to find cards like SNSD Oh WB card, SNSD Gee Japan version.. I am thinking that for the price of a WB/Gee Japan card, I can collect a relatively large number of album photo cards thus completing my album photo card collection faster and once I am done with the album photo cards, I will move on to those more expensive cards.
What do you think?

naeun @jk - I would definitely recommend on starting with the cheaper cards first. :3 They're easier to find, and you'll also be able to get more cards for less amounts of money, like you said. I usually start off collections making sure I at least have my bias members cards, and then I try for the cheaper members' cards, and work my way up to more expensive members. Like, for SNSD, I would get HyoYeon, Sunny, and Yuri first, then try to get SeoHyun and SooYoung next, since they're middle-priced members, and then go for Tiffany, Jessica, TaeYeon, and YoonA. Collect all the easy to find cards first, so that way when you get to the more expensive cards (WB & JP cards), you'll be able to spend more on just one card because you won't need as many cards. Does that make sense? Lol. Like me, I've completed all of the KR press SNSD cards except for OH! (Need groups, YoonA, and Fany), so I can focus more funds on the JP cards when they pop up (I recently finished Gee JP and I'm one card away from finishing RDR/Mr. Taxi JP). Hoot A and Mr. Taxi The Boys Repackage cards are very cheap right now; I wouldn't be surprised if you got several of them for under $10 USD each. :3 I pretty much agree with what you want to do. ^^ The expensive cards will be there later, because they're always someone wanting to sell theirs. I panicked when I found out RDR/Mr. Taxi JP and those were OOP, and I thought I'd never collect them. But now, I just need 6 more JP cards to have them all. :3 So don't worry about them disappearing. ^^
