Has anyone had a bad transaction with grapemusiccd before? I bought snsd mr mr cards from him/her last sat/Sunday and he said he will ship them last Monday. I got mail from him saying he had shipped on Monday. But I asked him for tracking number and he said wait until today. However he hasn't reply my mails requesting for tracking number and I am really worried here..

naeun @jk - tracking isn't always uploaded to eBay instantly, unless they print shipping labels with eBay/PayPal, which you can't do if you're selling something to someone outside of your country. I got a RR tracking number from them. No need to worry. I hope they shipped out your post cards with adequate protection.

Yes I understood about that. The thing is that they said they shipped my items on Monday with registered mail, so they should have the tracking number with them by that time because based on past experience with other sellers and with DVDHeaven, when they said they shipped my items already, they will provide tracking number as well via emails. I am sure when one post items over the counter at the post office via registered mail, the post office will surely tag the item and give the person a tracking number immediately right? But grapemusiccd said they needed 3 days post shipping items to give me my tracking number.

naeun @jk - Please be patient. They're probably busy. Right now, they are helping me with an issue; they are probably helping tons of others with issues as well. So please be patient with them. Most eBay sellers have other businesses outside of eBay. A lot of them just sell on eBay on the side. He/she probably has another job as well. minsoo1104 - I've never dealt we them, but they're using other sellers' pictures, so I'd be hesitant to deal with them. I don't like sellers that don't take their own pictures of the items they're selling. Just gives me a bad vibe; there's no telling what the actual card they have looks like.

naeun @jk grapemusiccd is totally legit. I'm sure there are lots of us on here who bought the SNSD MR.MR photos from them and considering how quickly they sold out in the first day that's a lot of people to print labels, pack and update tracking info for. I mean I bought my Yoona colour one on the 9th and it got dispatched yesterday and I still have no tracking number. Add onto that that they sell a lot of other things they probably have a ton of orders to sort out and like addictedtoyouleesungmin says a lot of them have outside jobs and do ebay as a side business so you have to be patient with these big sellers.

naeun @jk doodlebug addictedtoyouleesungmin With grapemusiccd, there've been times where I've bought something and didn't get a tracking number, though... I bought my TVXQ polaroids and never got tracking information from them, but with my Kyuhyun SPY photocard and now with my Mr.Mr. photocards, I've gotten tracking info. It may be that they have a spending limit for giving out tracking numbers (or something akin to that). However, if they say they'll give you a tracking number, I'd trust them and be patient and wait. Usually those tracking numbers don't really update until they're in the US (or whichever country they'd be shipping to for you), anyway. Even if they don't provide you with one, their items almost always arrive (to me at least) within the timeframe given by eBay. If they don't arrive, their customer is flawless, and I'm sure they'll be able to help you out somehow, whether it be through a refund or sending you a replacement item. As for uploading a shipping number, if you enter the tracking number first, eBay automatically marks the item as shipped, so if they do have a tracking number for you, that'd save them a few clicks... so I don't know why they wouldn't just put that in first. Huh.

They have very bad customer support. I mailed them a dozen time and not even a single reply! What hope do I have if there is a defect or something like that when they couldnt even be bothered to reply at least once! They have been silent for more than 24 hrs already but when I bought stuff from them, they replied my emails very fast. Clearly they don't value customers as you all think.
I will wait and see how, because if still no reply from them after a certain time frame, I will raise dispute with my credit card company.

naeun @jk 24 hours isn't a lot of time. They took a few days to reply to me, sometimes 2-3 at a time, when it came to my support case, but they still followed through. Please be patient. If there is a defect, you can open up a case with them, and if they refuse to offer you help, you can escalate it to eBay and see what they say about it. They are a very high volume store with lots of traffic; things get lost in the midst of everything. They do value their customers.

naeun @jk - they responded to my messages just fine. And within 24 hours. Some sellers don't like it when buyers bombard their inboxes with messages. By the way, if you threaten them with a credit card dispute, that's a very easy way to get reported and kicked off eBay. I would be careful what you say in eBay messages as eBay does monitor and read them. Grapemusiccd, even after I expressed that I didn't have the money to send back my defected cards because Registered mail is too expensive in the US, continued to apologize and ask me how they could help me. That alone is good customer service to me.

naeun @jk when I bought my SHINee SMtown week postcards I saw they listed later the big photos and I asked them if they can do combined shipping and they replied me in less than 1 hour (I guess because they were online on that time), that was on 23th december and they replied me so fast and it was around Xmas, even they gave a refund because they weren't able to send me a new invoice since I paid before the postcards and "bought" after the big photos and this was around Xmas which is maybe the most time they're more busy when I ask them something I usually get replies from them within 24-48 hours, I bought few days ago Speed circus album and Infinite returnOGS postcards I paid on 5th march and it was marked as shipped on 5th march on ebay and I got the tracking number on 7th march and I checked and it was on 7th when it was posted/collected and ship out the country on 11th March, so they put the trakcing number by manual and many people bought the SNSD Mr Mr postcards plus all the other orders they got, they're one of the biggest shops on ebay, so please give them few days

Firstly, I NEVER threatened them with my credit card company, I just said it here on this blog and never tell them at all. All I did was emailing them a few times asking for my tracking number, politely.. They finally gave me the shipping number, they said they forgot to give me. Well they shipped one day later than promised and I am pretty fine with that. I have never dealt with such sellers before, usually all will give me the tracking number as soon as they marked my items as shipped so this is a landmark situation for me. I can see that eBay protects sellers, that's not good at all. I shouldn't have spent so much money on a new seller, perhaps next time I will just buy something not too expensive from a seller I never deal with before and once the first transaction is fine, I will buy in larger quantity.. Lesson learnt.. Last but not least, thanks all for the assurances! You people kept me from descending into total paranoia.. Edit: Sorry if I was rude in any previous posts about this issue.. Edit 2: I think kshop4u deserves higher ratings. I never had problems with this seller at all so far.

naeun @jk a lot of the big k-pop sellers on ebay have such massive volumes of orders to sort out, add to that they need to invoice everyone if they buy multiple things, mark things shipped, add tracking numbers, package things up, take things to the post office, add new things to ebay...it's all a sheer volume of work and most of the sellers do need a bit of time to sort things out...I think the general jist with k-pop is that things do run a bit slower shipping wise sometimes therefore the best option I've found is to just chill out about it and learn the art of patience. We generally say if things aren't sorted in at least a week then be a bit more persistent. The other mods and I generally scrupulously analyse an ebay seller pro/cons and all before we make a rating. We're not going to say a seller is great if there are issues, again we're not going to say a seller is awful if they try to rectify their issues. kshop4u in this instant was great about a year ago but lately several other members here have received damaged cards and not great customer service therefore that is reflected in the rating. We appreciate that you haven't had any issues with the seller yourself which is great but we do look at all dealings with them before making a rating decision. I also think the mods were a little ticked off with your tone in some of the earlier posts but we appreciate the apology...the thing about this forum is just keep a cool head...people and especially the mods will help out in anyway that they can. Us mods all have differing opinions on all photocard matters and we discuss every issue at great length (believe me some discussions go on for hours and days); just unfortunately no-one other than the mods and the people who contact us with issues actually see what we discuss, but trust that we are here to make photocard collecting as fun and issue free as possible.

naeun @jk - grapemusiccd is far from being a new seller (if that's who you're referring to). And of course eBay protects sellers--they make money off the sellers. eBay also protects buyers. Sellers threaten buyers and get banned. Buyers threaten sellers and get banned as well. Please be more patient in the future. If you irritate a seller too much, they may add you to a blocked bidders list, and then you won't be able to buy anything from them.
