I'm considering buying some photocards off of them, but i'm like really iffy about them cause i've been having bad luck with purchases lately...

doodlebug Ah that worries me even more ;; but none of the given information is like the person I'm talking to, except the kpop-shop90 part and their email being from hotmail...? Do you think thy're trying to cover up their identity to continue their business?
The email the person (Venice Rebolledo from HK) provided on their Tumblr (kpop-shop90) post was: kpop_shop_90@hotmail.com
They gave me legit photoproof of the cards I asked them about with a sticky note with their email written on it ;; though they seem really desperate to get money, they sent me another email just 50 minutes after their last one since I didn't respond them yet e u e
I HATE WHEN YOU NEVER KNOW WHO TO FULLY TRUST

suihrene personally it's seems a little coincidental that both are using the same variant of username. If it were me I'd probably advise against doing business with them based on that fact alone. Also the fact thru seem a bit desperate for your money seems fishy to me. Have you tried googling the name to see if anything comes up?

doodlebug yeah... I've found enough evidence that makes them seem not trustable. I just won't do business with them and find the cards I need from elsewhere because I also came across this post ;; That seemed fishy to me too-- and I did look it up, but nothing really else came up? ;; Anyways~~ thanks for replying to me! If I didn't come on here to see if anyone knew info, I most probably would've purchased $140 worth of photocards...

Is anyone in this forum tumblr blog 'dumbybunny'? or does someone know them/have purchased from them?
I was interested in a few things they had but when I speak to them it seems sort of rushed or off to me.
We might just be different at writting/communicating but it just seemed off to me that they'd ask for my email for
payments so quick without explaining what happened to a previous seller interested in the same items I wanted.
(or giving me a proper basic protocol to selling.)
Update: Decided to give it a go anyways! the transaction was done through PayPal as goods/services and they
assured me of tracking/proof when they get back from the post office. If anything goes sour then I know I can contact
PayPal and retrieve my funds. (and their username/name/email on PayPal is verified.)

I don't know where to ask  I paid for a card last Dec6.. On Dec12, the seller messaged me she can't send the card because a relative died. I was okay with it and waited 'til January thinking she sent it out. I emailed her last Jan7 to ask for updates since she's supposed to send it with tracking. She only replied to me a week after, Jan14 saying sorry and she just sent the card  She said she wasn't able to send the card because Malaysia was flooded and post office was closed.  I don't know if she's telling the truth, but when I googled about the flood, the news reports only states that the flood started like Dec30 or so, so she has plenty of time to ship my card  Is she considered a 'time-waster'?  |

suihrene Just so you can know I can tell you that kpop_shop_90 is most definitely a scammer. I know because of my own experience They contacted me through tumblr first after seeing that I was looking to buy the Mix & Match DVD photocards, and later sent me "photoproof" that was directly from their Instagram. But then they couldn't correctly identify one of the photocards were actually in the picture, which totally should have been an alarm for me but I was being a complete idiot at the time and didn't think it through enough. I paid first and then knew that something was totally wrong after seeing the post on tumblr that was linked above and since the Instagram user they claim to be is from HK I tried typing a message to them in Cantonese confronting them about the situation, with which they replied with an answer that barely made any grammatical sense and was obviously generated from something like Google Translate. And as these stories usually end, they have since stopped replying to all of my emails =/

It seems to me that sassyphotocards is a scammer. She first messaged me on October 10th, 2014. She offered me Ilhoon's 2nd Confession card and a JB Bounce card. I paid her $48 and sent her my address on the 25th of October which was a Saturday. The same day she said she received the money and would send them out on Tuesday, the 28th. I waited, assuming it would take a while. I emailed her back on the 9th of November to ask if she had sent them. At this point she said that she sent them out on Monday (which would be the 3rd of November). I waited some more. On December the 2nd I emailed her again. She didn't get back to me until the 10th . The email is below : It's now January 26, 2015 and I have received no further emails. sammysquatches@gmail.com is her email address. At this point I told her to just give me my money back.Another user, I'm not sure if I'd peg her as a scammer or a time-waster, is xodus. She got in contact with me here on the forum on my wishlist on November 19, 2014 saying she had a defected Luna Red Light card. We messaged and she sent me a picture. The defect wasn't so bad so I told her I would take it. I ended up only having to pay $2, which was fine. I paid on November 21st and she said she would send it out the next day (November 22nd). I messaged her back on December 12th and January 18th and no response. Again, it is now the 26th of January and I have no card and no explanation. I'm not even mad about losing $2, I'm mad I have not received a card for my collection. |

@heycarese I seemed to also have a problem with xodus? We sent on the same day for a trade but neither of us received... I mean I know mail gets lost but she sent an f(x) Album and I sent to another person in her state and they also received... Idk if it was really lost mail and she really didn't receive. She hasnt replied back or anything so idk.

Why Ryan Tan (Singapore) is not listed on there? He scammed me and sarangsone , we dealed to trade but he never ship out mine, I lost my Soyeon 2014 calendar card (at least $50) And for sarangsone you should beware with her, a few months ago I won her giveaway but she never asking my address, okay since it just giveaway I'm not even ask her about my gift. But 3 months ago she was interested with some of my cards and we dealed $40, she promised to send the money after I send out her cards, this is my biggest fault, I trusted her. After 2 weeks, she paid me $20 and promised again would pay after received the cards. Finally, she paid $16 after 1 month received her cards and after I asked her a huge times to pay, and the rest $4? Until now (3 months) she even ignore me! cmon it's just $4 why she still said don't have money but actually she could buy some rare cards, ugh I'm tired asking her to pay $4  |

Has anyone dealt with Sara Vasquez on YouTube? Her email is chamomile956@gmail.com and she is located in El Paso, Texas.
Timeline of our trade:
12/10: I saw her video on YouTube and contacted to trade my Baekhyun Overdose card for her Lay Overdose
12/16: I mailed off my card and sent her an email along with pictures of the stamped envelope and receipt from the post office as I do for all my trades. I ask her when she can send off her card, and she says she'll do it asap.
12/25: I send her another email she says she'll send it tomorrow.
1/4: Haven't heard back from her since then so I send her another email. No reply.
1/20: I start to get suspicious and send her an email with a more aggressive tone to which she replies that her last email to me "never sent" and that yes she did mail it. I ask her for a picture of the receipt from the post office if she did, she replies with:
I don't want to easily accuse people of being scammers so I wait a few days in between so she can have time to "find her receipt".
1/25: I ask her if she has found her receipt yet. No answer.
1/31 (today): My last email to her. All I have to say at this point is that she doesn't seem a teensy bit sorry, which just so happens to be how all scammers I've come across have acted in the past.
*sigh* My rotten luck lately. First that kpop_shop_90 person and now this. Anyways I don't know if this is enough to count as proof that she's a scammer, but I would highly advise against anyone here on the forum from trading with her to save yourself the frustration. |
